This production of "Working" is a beautiful celebration of the stories of everyday working-class individuals, preformed through an oral storytelling that produces an authentic and respectful production. The musical numbers and monologues offer profound insights into the lives of people we may encounter daily but rarely take the time to understand truly. The costumes used in this production are designed to reflect the individuality of the cast, while also using elements such as color, silhouette, and accessories to convey the unique experiences of specific American workers in their jobs. The denim and industrial color palette used in the costumes evoke a sense of timelessness that speaks to the enduring significance of working-class Americans in our nation's history.
